ToyoGuard FAQs
No. ToyoGuard does not replace ToyotaCare. Every new Toyota still gets ToyotaCare, which covers factory-scheduled maintenance for 1 year or 10,000 miles on 2027 and newer models, or 2 years or 25,000 miles on 2026 and earlier models, whichever comes first. ToyoGuard works alongside ToyotaCare, adding extra protection and services that extend your coverage beyond what ToyotaCare includes.
ToyoGuard Platinum is for gas and hybrid Toyotas and includes 2 synthetic oil changes. ToyoGuard Platinum BEV is for battery electric Toyotas, which don't need oil changes, so it adds a 2-year/24,000-mile 12-volt battery warranty instead. Both plans include the same protectants, tire rotations, roadside assistance, and rental car assistance.
The Exterior Paint Protectant, Interior Protectant, and 12-Volt Battery Protectant are exclusive to ToyoGuard and are not part of ToyotaCare. ToyoGuard also adds Rental Car Assistance, extends Roadside Assistance to 5 years or 60,000 miles, and provides the BEV 12-volt battery warranty.
